Patrick Leahy takes pictures with his camera after a meeting with Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez in Old Havana, Cuba, Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013.

Mara Williams, chief curator of the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, suggested a trip to the Vermont Supreme Court building in Montpelier to take in the photography exhibit, The Eye of Senator Leahy.

Leahy's documentary-style photographs--now on display through the end of February--show behind-the-scenes glimpses into historical events.

Painter and sculptor Nancy Shade from Hardwick called about a recently redesigned building which houses the Positive Pie restaurant.

She suggested a visit to see the three-dimensional metal reliefs now hanging on its walls created by local artist Piper Strong.

And Nigerian musicians Femi Kuti and Positive Force come to Lyndon State College this Sunday at 7 p.m. Sarah Mutrux, the director of the Art House on Craftsbury Common, called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to urge listeners not to miss it.

Stay tuned for next week's Art Hounds for suggestions about a unique sculpture installation with a surprise twist, plus theater in the Upper Valley and mosaics.
