This is our weekly look at the region's vibrant arts scene, called Art Hounds.

Andrew Mack of the Burlington Choral Society, called the VPR Art Hounds hotline with a suggestion, called, Jazz at the Church, for Thursday, March 14th.

Jim in Brattleboro highly recommends you take in the excitement created by the New England Center for Circus Arts in Brattleboro.

Circus Spectacular is coming to a high-wire near you this weekend at the Latchis Theatre.

Joey Corcoran has appreciated Rod McIver's watercolors for years and now his works have a brick-and-mortar gallery all their own.

The Heron Dance Wild Nature Art Gallery opens March 1st on the rotary in Winooski.The space is open weekdays with McIver's work for show and sale.

Bettie Barnes, who is a fiber artist, recommends the exhibit at Penny Cluse restaurant in Burlington. This show of hands benefits the organization HANDS - Helping and Nurturing Diverse Seniors. It's part of First Friday Art Walk.

And, finally, the band After The Rodeo hits Morristown to play at Moog's Place on Portland Street. Local music teacher Alan Church called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to highly recommend this trio of musicians' musicians.
