Art Hounds: Mother's Day

Thursday, 4:55 p.m. and Friday, 7:55 a.m.

Theater performer and Middlebury attorney Jennifer Wagner called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to suggest a group which performs Renaissance polyphony, called Amaryllis.

They perform a program featuring the works of Josquin at St. Stephen's Church in Middlebury on Wednesday, May 15th.

Joyce Hendley of South Burlington suggests an evening taking in some future actors with a stage performance of the much-loved play, "Fiddler on the Roof."

The play will be staged Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., at South Burlington High School auditorium featuring actors from Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School.

There is also a special Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. to benefit the Boston Marathon survivors. Tickets can be purchased at the school office.

Executive Director of The Valley Arts Foundation Karen Nevin suggests a stroll through Waitsfield's Festival Gallery to take in the works of Middletown Springs  artist Mareva Millarc.

The exhibit, "Expressions" is up through June 7th.
