Art Hounds: Oils, 'Oliver' And Comedy

This week, our Art Hounds recommend visual art in Lyme, a student performance in South Burlington, singers in Thetford, a literary magazine launch in Burlington and a comedy showcase in Montpelier.

Thursday, May 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.: "Paradise Found" the works of Woodstock artist Liliana Paradiso on display at at Long River Gallery and Gifts in Lyme, New Hampshire. Suggested by artist and poet Dave Celone.

Friday, May 6 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, May 7 at 2 and 7 p.m.: The Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School students in performance of Oliverat South Burlington High School. Recommended by Paul Fitzgerald of South Burlington.

Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m.: Mud Season Review launch celebration and literary cocktail party at Hotel Vermont in Burlington. Recommended by Michael Thompson from Jericho.

Tuesday, May 10 at 8 p.m.: Showboat, Pop-Up Comedy Showcase at Lost Nation Theater in Montpelier. Suggested by Corey Flynn, comedian from Montpelier.
