Art Hounds: Tapestry, Chamber Music & The Mexican Underworld

'Medieval Guardians' is a felted wool tapestry created by artist Neysa Russo of Plainfield.

S.B. Sobel, a painter, printmaker and poet from Montpelier suggested the felted wool tapestry pieces of Neysa Russo on the walls at Bagito's Cafe in Montpelier through December.

Photojournalist and musician Libby Hillhouse of Danville recommended Capital City Concert's 16th season opener, Time After Time, on Saturday, October 17th at 7:30 p.m. in the Unitarian Church in Montpelier and Sunday, October 18th at the Paramount Theater at 3 p.m. in Rutland.

David Nichols is an avid consumer of chamber music from Rupert and suggested Music From Salem's fall concert,Whose Woods These Are I Think I Know, on October 18th at 4 p.m. at the Beloved Farm on Mckee Hollow Road in Cambridge, New York.

Playwright Maura Campbell's play Fantasia De Colores is onstage at Offcenter for the Dramatic Arts in Burlington beginning Saturday, October 18th in the Theater MosaicMond. All shows begin at 8 p.m.
