Art Hounds: Ukulele Flash Mob And Castleton Colonial Day

Join a ukulele flash mob in Brattleboro, take in a concert in Stowe and tour colonial architecture and historic homes in Castleton.

Saturday, August 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Main Street, Castleton: Castleton Colonial Day, with tours of local historic homes and buildings, plus period clothing and local artwork, suggested by Mary Ann Feeney from the Castleton Women’s Club.

Saturday, August 20 at 8 p.m. at Historic Memorial Hall in Wilmington: Southern Vermont Deerfield Valley Jazz Concert Series to benefit The Gathering Place, an adult day center. Musicians perform an evening of music from the Great American Songbook, suggested by Victoria Chertok.

Thursday, August 25 at 8 p.m. at Spruce Peak Arts in Stowe: The band Cricket Blue performs, recommended by Mark Sustic of Fletcher, founder of Young Tradition Vermont.

Thursday, August 25 at 6 p.m. in the heart of Downtown Brattleboro: Ukulele Flash Mob, if you know one uke chord or all of them, join others in a celebration of music at Harmony Place in Brattleboro.
