This program will air on Sunday December 13th from 7-10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Stories for a Winter's Eve, original Vermont Stories and Music by Pete Sutherland and Patti Casey with Mark Nash and Kathryn Blume, will be performed at the Old Meeting House in East Montpelier on Saturday December 19th at 3 and 7 p.m.

There will be a contradance on Saturday December 12th at Tracy Hall in Norwich.  David Moore & Russ Orzechowski will provide music, Jean Pauly is the caller.  Dancing begins at 8 p.m. 

From Thursday December 17th through Sunday the 20th, the Hopkins Center in Hanover, NH presents Christmas Revels, A Scottish Highlands Celebration of the Winter Solstice, features a fantastic new script by acclaimed author Susan Cooper, a marvelous selection of familiar and rare Scottish music and dance, a cast of talented local singers, dancers and actors of all ages, and an exceptionally good roster of guest artists who are specialists in Scottish music and dance, including Iain MacHarg and Jeremiah McLane.

Harvey Reid and Joyce Anderson will be performing at the Flying Goose Brew Pub in New London, NH on Thursday December 17th at 8 p.m.

Mayfly, featuring Katie Trautz and Julia Wayne, will be performing this week at the Feast and Field Market at the Barnard town hall on ThursdayDecember 17th at 5:30 and on Saturday December 19th at Radio Bean in Burlington at 8:30.

Champlain Valley diva Martha Seyler will be singing at Shelburne Wine & Coffee on Saturday December 19th from 3 – 5 p.m. Robert Resnik will be the “backup band!”

The Aerolites will be performing at the Tap Room in St. Johnsbury on  Friday September 18th at 9 p.m.

Peggy Lynn, Dan Berggren, and Dan Duggan, also known as Jamcrackers, will be performing a holiday show at Old Songs in Voorheesville, NY on Friday December 18th at 8 p.m.

 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
