What questions do you want to ask candidates during our debates ahead of the August primary?

Debate Week on VPR's Vermont Edition begins Aug. 1, and we want your questions for the primary election candidates. What issues do you want them to take a stand on? What priorities matter to you as a voter? What information will help you decide who will get your vote?

Debate Week features four debates for contested offices in the Aug. 9 primary election:

Monday, Aug. 1: Democratic Lieutenant Governor Candidates

  • Kesha Ram
  • Shap Smith
  • David Zuckerman

Tuesday, Aug. 2: Democratic Treasurer Candidates

  • Richard Dunne
  • Beth Pearce

Wednesday, Aug. 3: Republican Gubernatorial Candidates

  • Bruce Lisman
  • Phil Scott

Thursday, Aug. 4: Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates

  • Matt Dunne
  • Peter Galbraith
  • Sue Minter

Here are two ways to potentially get your question asked in our debates:

1. Record your question on your smartphone's voice memo app and send it to vermontedition@vpr.net.
