Following In the Footsteps Of Legends

This summer, Hinesburg musician, Rik Palieri and New York City musician, George Mann, retraced the journey of musical icons. They played in the same towns and in some cases, the same venues as the legendary group The Almanacs did on their famous 1941 tour to promote labor unions and folk music. They called their tour The Almanac Trail.

Palieri recently spoke with Vermont Edition about what it was like following in the footsteps of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Lee Hays and Millard Lampell.

Upcoming Tour Dates

Friday, Oct. 11, 10 PM, Radio Bean, Burlington

Sunday, Oct. 13, 4 PM, United Church of Westford

Friday, Nov. 15, 7 PM, Hinesburg Library
