Forest Service Prepares For Rainbow Gathering In Vermont

Jun 22, 2016

The Rainbow Family of Living Light is holding its annual gathering in the Green Mountain National Forest, and officials are estimating that 10,000 or maybe even 20,000 people could join the primitive encampment in June and early July.

Forest Supervisor John Sinclair oversees the Green Mountain and Finger Lakes division of the U.S. Forest Service, and described for Vermont Edition how the Forest Service is preparing for the influx of people in a typically-quiet area near Mount Tabor, between Manchester and Rutland.
