Get The New VPR App For iPhone & Android

Jul 21, 2015

The new version of the VPR App is now available for Android. Visit Google Play to install the app or update it if you already have it. (UPDATED 7/21/2015)

ORIGINAL 5/1/2015: The new VPR iPhone App is available in the App Store. Download the free App to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.

If you have an iOS device the VPR App is still the easiest way to listen to the live streams, to get the latest news and catch up on recent programs. In the new version of the App you'll see clearer stream metadata to know what program is on now and up next as you listen to VPR and VPR Classical; you'll be able to dig into the VPR News headlines for the audio, text and images with every story; and you'll still have one-tap access to the latest Vermont Edition, Commentaries, Featured Programs and even School Closings.

We partnered with Jacapps to launch this new version of the App. Jacapps was founded by Paul and Fred Jacobs of Jacobs Media, and they have a long history of working with VPR and other public radio stations. Jacapps recently worked with KQED and WBUR to launch the latest versions of their iPhone Apps.

Depending on your device settings, your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch might update automatically or you may have to initiate the update by going to the App Store. You can also just open this link on your device and follow the Update/Install directions.

Please check it out and, if you like the App, please give us some love by adding a review in the App Store. If you have feedback or suggestions to share with us directly, please send us a message any time and we'll reply to every message.

FYI: we are working on an upgrade to the Android App, look for that in the coming months!
