If you have been doing things right, your garden should look like this. If not, well, that's why we have Charlie Nardozzi on the show!

All that planting you did once the winter ended was invigorating. You dug, hoed and sowed, putting in vegetables, herbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees.

A few months on, and all that planting has brought on challenges you might not have imagined. Weeds joined the party. Rabbits and groundhogs found your kale and carrots delicious. And you have now become intimately acquainted with something called the tomato hornworm.

Thank goodness for gardening guru Charlie Nardozzi. He'll take your questions and solve all of your gardening dilemmas.

Broadcast live on Monday, August 15, 2016, at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

Ric was a producer for Vermont Edition and host of the VPR Cafe.
One in five Vermonters is considered elderly. But what does being elderly even mean — and what do Vermonters need to know as they age? I’m looking into how aging in Vermont impacts living essentials such as jobs, health care and housing. And also how aging impacts the stuff of life: marriage, loss, dating and sex.
