Giovanna Peepbles at the entrance of the stone chambers in Pomfret.

Vermont State Archeologist Giovanna Peebles has served in that role for the past 38 years and is about to retire.

She discusses her biggest contributions in the position, what new things we've learned about Vermont history over those four decades, why there is a state archeologist and what happens next for Vermont archeology.

Also on the program, the Republican primary in New York's 21st Congressional district has been rather contentious. SUNY-Plattsburgh Political Science Professor Harvey Schantz provides an update on what has transpired in the race so far.

Plus, we return to Summer School for a lesson in karaoke singing.

Broadcast live on Monday, June 23 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
