Jun 26, 2013

Last weekend, Rutland amateur radio enthusiasts took part in a national event called Field Days, which highlights the importance of ham radio. They set up radio stations at the high school football stadium and broadcast for 24 hours, calling out to other stations all over the country.

Tim Abraham is Vice President of the Green Mountain Wireless Society. He spoke with Vermont Edition about how many other stations he made contact with during the event.
