Our broadcast of Storytellers on a Mission on May 26th was cut off at the end due to human error with our computer system. We apologize for this error. Attached is the audio for his story, "Love Affair With "Mother-In-Law in two parts.

VPR presents two special programs on Memorial Day.  Teenage Diaries Revisted at noon and Storytellers On A Mission at 7 p.m.

Back in the 1990s, Radio Diaries producer Joe Richman gave tape recorders to a handful of teens and asked them to report on their own lives. Now, almost 20 years later, Richman has produced Teenage Diaries Revisited to check back in on their lives. Listen at noon for Teenage Diaries Revisited. On April 19th, five  storytellers gathered at the Latchis Theatre in Brattleboro to tell stories for a good cause. The event was hosted by Peter Sagal of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. This evening at 7, we bring you three of those stories in Storytellers On A Mission: Elna Baker, author of The New York Regional Mormon Singles Halloween Dance; Peter Aguero, who you've heard on The Moth Radio Hour, and Ian Chilling, who writes for Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. The show is hosted by Tom Bodett. The live event in Brattleboro also included stories from Cindy Baker and Peter Sagal.

Storytellers On A Mission is produced by The Hatch, a Brattleboro non-profit whose mission is to "have fun and do good". The April 19th show raised $40,000 for the Morningside Shelter in Brattleboro.
