Oliver Parini

David Zuckerman of Hinesburg was elected as Vermont's 81st Lieutenant Governor after defeating Randy Brock Tuesday.

State Senator David Zuckerman faced formidable opposition in the Democratic primary for Lieutenant Governor when he defeated House Speaker Shap Smith and Burlington State Representative Kesha Ram.

In the general election on Tuesday, Zuckerman faced former State Auditor Randy Brock, who was also the Republican gubernatorial challenger in 2012.

Zuckerman, a Progressive/Democrat, is now Lieutenant Governor-elect and joins us to discuss his Legislative priorities for the new biennium and his role in the Senate.

Also on the program, John Gregg, news editor of the Valley News provides a recap of Tuesday's election results from New Hampshire.

Broadcast live on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
