Listening To Vermont's Best Music

Apr 30, 2015

With the Waking Windows music festival in Winooski coming up, we take the opportunity to listen in on Vermont's big and broadening music scene: from rock to funk to EDM to hip hop.

Brent Hallenbeck, arts and entertainment reporter for the Burlington Free Press joins us, along with Juliana Wilson, editor-in-chief of Cider Magazine.

We also talk to Paddy Reagan of the Waking Window festival and James Lockridge of Big Heavy World, a Burlington-based non-profit that supports local music.

Broadcast live on Thurs., April 30, 2015 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
