A Look At Our Neighbors' New Marijuana Laws

Nov 14, 2016

On Tuesday, four more states approved the legalization of the use of recreational marijuana. That included two in New England: Massachusetts and Maine.

That could have a profound effect on legalization efforts in Vermont.

We speak with WBUR Reporter Martha Bebinger and Maine Public Radio Deputy News Director Susan Sharon about what prompted voters to approve the ballot initiatives and what the new laws will look like.

Also on the program, at Champlain College, there's a new effort aimed at sexual harassment and assault prevention. Students and staff from the College's well-regarded Game Studio have collaborated on an online game that tackles sexual harassment and assault on campus. We speak with Amanda Crispel,  assistant dean for game development at Champlain, about the game.
