Love Is Everywhere

Today's show lands right on Valentine's Day, so in addition to many new releases and a preview of the Spice on Snow Festival next weekend in Montpelier, the word is love !

This program will air on Sunday February 14th from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Dana Lyn and Kyle Sanna, two brilliant improvisers, composers, and performers of traditional Irish music, will perform an intimate acoustic concert at the Burlington Violin Shop on Wednesday February 17th from 6 – 8:30 p.m.

There will be a winter contradance at the Tinmouth Community Center on Friday February 19th with Will Mentor calling and with live music by the up and coming band Nova with special guest Oliver Scanlon.  Dancing will be from 8-11 p.m. with a beginner’s session right at 8.

The Dave Keller band will be performing in our listening area four different times this week.  Check their schedule at davekeller.com.

The 6th annual Spice on Snow music festival will be held in Montpelier from February 18th – 21st. Featured artists include the Foghorn String Band, Joel Savoy, the Sweetback Sisters, the Starline Rhythm Boys, the Green Mountain Playboys, and many more. The Rock Farmer Road Show presents Doug Perkins and Jamie Masefield at the West Newbury Hall on Saturday February 20th. 

The Cabin Fever Music Series at the Walkover Gallery and Concert Room 15 Main St in Bristol presents The Matt Flinner Trio on Friday February 19th at 8pm. 

The P.M. Sundays series at the Richmond Congregational Church presents Pat Donohue on Sunday February 21st at 4 p.m.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
