Morris Levy was a music industry executive known for having founded Roulette Records in New York City in 1957.

Billboard magazine described him as "one of the record industry's most controversial and flamboyant players."

On this week's My Place, we'll learn the story of Morris Levy and Roulette Records with memorable recordings by Frankie Lymon and the Teenagers, Joey Dee and the Starlighters, Tommy James and The Shondells and many others.

Joel Najman

Joel has been a part of Vermont's radio scene since 1964. He began his career at WIPS in Ticonderoga, New York. In 1965, he moved to WFAD in Middlebury, Vermont, where he attended Middlebury College. Over the years, Joel worked at radio stations WJOY, WQCR, WDOT, WDEV and WVAA where he served at various times as Morning Announcer, Program Director and News Director.
