New Releases And Old Favorites

A bundle of great new releases, all kinds of classics, and, just because, a set honoring Stan Rogers, one of Canada's finest!

Note: This program will air on Sunday, February 22nd from 7-10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

The Michele Fay Band will be performing at Lincoln Peak Vineyard Winery in Middlebury at 142 River Rd. on Friday, February 27th at 7 p.m.

Chris Smither returns to the After Dark Music Series on Saturday, February 28th at the Town Hall Theater in Middlebury.  Doors open at 6:30 and the concert is at 7 p.m.

Tim McKenzie will perform at the Good Times Café in Hinesburg on Saturday February 28th . Music begins at 8:30 p.m.

Alan Greenleaf and The Doctor will be playing at Parker Pie in W.Glover on Thursday, February 26th  from 6:30 PM on. On Saturday, February 28th, Alan Greenleaf will perform solo at the "Peacham Cafe" from 11AM to 2PM in collaboration with the Peacham Winter Carnival which starts Friday night with a Contra Dance at 7 p.m. and features many winter activities all weekend.

The Hillside Rounders will perform at Sweet Melissa’s in Montpelier on Saturday February 28th.

The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center presents “Puttin’ on the Ritz” with the Onion River Jazz Band on Saturday, February 28th  at 7:30 p.m. in Stowe.

There will be a benefit concert featuring Abby and Rosie Newton and Lyn Hardy at the Cabot School of Performing Arts  (25 Common Rd., Cabot) on Saturday February 28th at 7:30 p.m. to benefit the Cabot Connects Mentoring Program. 

The UVM Lane Series presents Eric Bibb on Saturday February 28th at 7:30 p.m. at the UVM Recital Hall in Burlington. 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
