Political Reporters Look Back On The Shumlin Governorship

Angela Evancie

VPR File
We're looking back at Governor Shumlin's six years in office with a panel of Vermont political reporters.

Peter Shumlin first became governor in January of 2011. We're looking back at his time in office with a panel of Vermont political reporters.

We're joined by Anne Galloway of VTDigger, Terri Hallenbeck of Seven Days, and Bob Kinzel of VPR.

We spoke with Governor Shumlin about his time in office on Monday.

Also on the program, longtime passenger rail advocate Carl Fowler on thelatest developments that could lead to the resumption of rail service between Vermont and Montreal.

Correction 5:04 p.m. An earlier version of this post had the incorrect year that Shumlin was first sworn in as governor. He became governor in January of 2011, not 2010.

Broadcast live on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
