We can dream, can't we?  Music from various warm spots, some hot gospel classics, and a hearty helping of local music too!

This program will air on Sunday February 1st from 7 - 10 p.m.

This week's calendar announcements:

Hot Flannel will be performing at The Stowe Town Hall at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday February 6th  & 7th. Wear your favorite flannel to the show and be 1 of the first 10 people through the door to get a free cd!

Possumhaw will play at the Palmer Street Coffeehouse in Plattsburgh on Friday February 6th at 7:30 p.m.

Laura Molinelli with The Bondville Boys will perform at J.J Japgood General Store in Peru on Saturday February 7th from 5–7:30 p.m. 

Cricket Blue will be the featured performers at the Ripton Community Coffee House on Saturday, February 7th. Their show will be preceded by the famous open mic which begins at 7:30 p.m.  

On Thursday, February 5th from 6 to 8 p.m., Shelburne Vineyard will be hosting a free concert, featuring Patrick Fitzsimmons.

The Chandler Center for the Arts in Randolph presents Bow Thayer as part of their new “First Friday” series, on Friday February 6th at 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Gallery.

There will be an intergenerational dance at the Plainfield Town Hall Opera House on Sunday February 8th from 3 – 4:30 p.m. Live music by Kenric Kite and Larry Rice.  All are welcome!

Woods Tea Company, featuring Patti Casey, Pete Sutherland, and Howard Wooden, will perform at the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center in Stowe on Saturday February 7th  at 7:30 p.m.

The Monadnock Folklore Society presents the Peterborough NH First Saturday Contra Dance on February 7th, featuring Luke Donforth calling with the band Shindy. The dancing begins at 8:00 PM, with an optional introductory workshop beforehand. The dance also hosts an open jam session for beginning and intermediate musicians from 6:45 - 7:30 p.m., as well as a special workshop at 9:30 PM led by Luke Donforth. Luke will demonstrate how to safely incorporate embellishments to contra dance moves. These “ornaments” derive from swing dance and other forms of couple dances. All are welcome and there is no additional charge for the workshop.

Steel Rail with special guests Bill Garret and Sue Lothrop will be performing at Petit Campus on Prince Arthur E. in Montreal on Saturday February 7th. 

Shelby Lynne will perform at the Barre Opera House on Saturday February 7th at 7:30 p.m.

The North Branch School in Ripton is hosting a Benefit Gala on Friday February 6th at Burlnham Hall in Lincoln.  The event will feature a home-cooked meal, a contradance with Atlantic Crossing with Mary Wesley calling, and a silent auction. Doors open at 5:30.

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
