Wed 10/2/13 at Noon & 7PM: Here we go again: another congressional stalemate over the budget, but this time it’s led to a partial government shutdown. What does a “partial shutdown” look like? Wednesday on Vermont Edition, we learn about federal programs and services that are affected in Vermont.
Administration Secretary Jeb Spaulding outlines the streams of federal funding that come into Vermont and the offices affected by furloughs. We also check in with the Vermont National Guard, the Veterans Administration medical center in White River Junction, Head Start programs and the Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park in Woodstock.
