This week's calendar announcements:

On Thursday, November 3rd at 7 p.m., Irish-American artist and musician Reagh Greenleaf Jr. will offer a presentation on Vermont’s Celtic Heritage, discussing our state’s roots in Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The event is hosted by the One World Library Project and will take place at the Lawrence Memorial Library at 40 North Street in Bristol.

Roots guitarist/songwriter William Lee Ellis brings his unique brand of blues and gospel music to Deborah Lawson Memorial Library in Jericho on Sunday November 6th at 2 p.m.

Traditional roots duo Anna and Elizabeth will perform at the Bishop Booth Conference Center in Burlington on Monday November 7th at 7 p.m.

Pierre Chartrand, Alexis Chartrand, and Nicolas Babineau will perform at the Ceilidh Barn, located at 124 Lahue Farm Road in Sheldon on Friday November 4th at 7pm.  For more information, please call802-393-7120

The Monadnock Folklore Society presents the Peterborough, NH First Saturday Contra Dance on November 5th, featuring Bob Isaacs calling with the band Down Cellar. The dancing begins at 8 p.m. The dance also hosts a free jam session for beginning and intermediate musicians at 6:30 p.m. and a workshop for new dancers at 7:30 p.m.

Joe Franco & His Elders, including Susannah Blachly and Lewis Franco, will perform classic soul tunes from the 70's at the Whammy Bar in Calais on Friday November 4th at 7:30 p.m.

Next Stage Arts Project and Twilight Music present an evening of acoustic/electric Americana The Slambovian Circus of Dreams (aka The Grand Slambovians) on Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in downtown Putney.

Guitar master and singer-songwriter Pat Donahue is the featured performer this month at the Ripton Community Coffee Houseon Saturday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Pat Donohue will also be performing at Café Lena in Saratoga Springs on Sunday November 6th.

The Will Patton Ensemble will be playing at the Music Box in Craftsbury on Saturday November 5th at 7:30 p.m.

Moors and McCumber will be performing at the Richmond Congregational Church on Sunday November 6th at 4 p.m.

Bennington’s Meeting House Café presents Reggie Harris and Pat Wictor on Saturday November 5th at 8 p.m.

On Saturday Nov 5th at 7:30 pm, Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing presents an all gospel and inspirational music show at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Main Street, St. Johnsbury.
 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
