Alex Wick is a fifth grader at Champlain Elementary School in Burlington and has been composing music since he was in third grade. His solo piano work, "Entertainment in F Major," mixes Bach and boogie-woogie, and was performed in January 2013 by University of Vermont pianist and composer David Feuerzeig.
