Swale

Freelance writer John Flanagan of Richmond came to the VPR studios to talk up local band, Swale and its 10th anniversary performance at Radio Bean in Burlington on Friday, September 28th.

Janet Cobb from Norwich called about Windsor artist Carol Santa Maria's exhibit, "Painting the Wind," in Lyme, New Hampshire.

Vermont, painter Peggy Kannenstine called the VPR Art Hounds hotline to recommend, Gilbert and Sullivan's, "The Pirates of Penzance," being performed by Pentangle Arts actors as well as a cast of locals.

Laura Mack suggested taking in a truly local celebration, called "Feast of Our Farms" at Mary's At Baldwin Creek in Bristol.

The harvest festival will feature local musicians Rick Ceballos and Matt Witten, who will play bluegrass and fiddle music throughout the locally-sourced dinner and all evening long.
