A new season of Boston Symphony Orchestra concerts from Symphony Hall begins with an all-Brahms program led by Christoph von Dohnanyi. Violinist Augustin Hadelich and cellist Alban Gerhardt play the Double Concerto and the program concludes with the Symphony No. 2 in D, Op. 73.

Christoph von Dohanyi returns the following week to conduct Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 "Resurrection" with soprano Camilla Tilling, mezzo-soprano Sarah Connolly and the Tanglewood Festival Choir, prepared by John Oliver.
