This week's calendar announcements:

The duo Red Tail Ring will be performing at the Huntington Town Library on Thursday August 4th at 7 p.m.

On Saturday August 6th Vermont musician Davey Davis, with special guests Kristina Stykos & Tad Davis, will be performing at the Whammy Bar in Calais at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Vermont musician Victor Tremblay will be playing at the East Burke Farmer's Market on Thursday August 4th. 

Ten Strings and a Goat Skin will be performing in Putney on Friday August 5th at the Randolph Theater.  Music begins at 
7:30 pm at Next Stage at 15 Kimball Hill in downtown Putney.  
 
Roy Hurd will be performing on Wednesday August 3rd in Marcy Field, Keene NY beginning at 6:30 p.m.  Rain location is the Keene Library

The Haskell Opera House in Derby Line will be the setting for the third annual Banjo Dan’s Bluegrass Revue on Friday, August 5.  Featured musicians include Bob Amos & Catamount Crossing plus a reunion of Banjo Dan and the Mid-nite Plowboys.  The show begins at 7:30 p.m.

Ilumina a duo featuring Stuart Fuchs on guitar, ukulele, Native American flute & didjeridoo and Sarah Carlisle playing upright bass and mandolin will perform Thursday evening August 4th at  7:30 p.m. at the Nelson, NH Town Hall in an evening of dazzling instrumentals, world music, jazz, sacred poetry and soulful original songs.

Andy and Janet Leader will be playing at the Peacham Farmers' Market on Thursday August 4th from 3 - 6 p.m. 

On Thursday August 4th, Dan and Willy Lindner and John Henry Drake will perform at the Whammy Bar in Calais…music starts at 7:30.

Bob Stannard and his Dangerous Bluesmen will be performing at the Black Box Theater in Burlington on Saturday August 6th at 8pm.  Doors open at 7, and all proceeds benefit the Joint Urban Ministries Project.

The Salisbury Summer Concert Series presents Deb Flanders and Michele Choiniere with special guest accompanist Robert Resnik at the Salisbury Congregational Church on Friday August 5th. Music begins at 7:30 p,m,
 

Village Harmony will be giving a concert of Capetown South African songs and dance, Balkan and Georgian songs, American shape-note and Renaissance pieces on Saturday, Aug 6th at 7:30 pm at the First Church in Jaffrey Center, NH.

Vermont bluesman Dave Keller will be performing 4 times this week in the VPR listening area.  Check his website for places and times! 

Robert Resnik has been the host of All the Traditions, Vermont Public's folk and world music show, since 1996. He is the winner of the 2019 Herb Lockwood Prize In the Arts, an honor that rewards the pinnacle of arts leadership in Vermont and is the recipient of the 2022 Margaret L Kannenstine Award for Arts Advocacy from the Vermont Council of the Arts.
