Researchers Alexi Potter and Matt Albaugh are working on a 10-year research study on the adolescent brain. They'll tell us about the project and what they hope to find out.

Ever wonder what's going on in your teenager's mind? You may be about to find out a lot more. The University of Vermont is taking a leading role in a massive national study into the developing brains of 10,000 adolescents.

We're talking with UVM researchers about the study and the questions it hopes to answer about the development of the teenage brain.

Alexandra Potter joins us; she's co-principal investigator on the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development study. We're also joined by Matt Albaugh, a postdoctoral research associate on the ABCD study.

Also on the program, we talk with the winner of the 2016 Vermont Book Award, poet Major Jackson.

Broadcast on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016 live at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

I’m looking into how aging in Vermont impacts living essentials such as jobs, health care and housing. And also how aging impacts the stuff of life: marriage, loss, dating and sex.
