Vermont And The GOP Presidential Race

Angela Evancie

Republican presidential candidates have made few stops in Vermont so far this campaign season, though Donald Trump made headlines with his swing through Burlington in January.

There's still a wide field out there on the GOP side of the presidential race.  And with no candidate close to locking down the nomination as of now, Vermont's 16 Republican delegates could make a difference come Super Tuesday. We're taking stock of the field, and looking at what's at stake and what Vermont Republicans are thinking about the candidates.

Vermont Republican Party Chair David Sunderland joins us, as well as Middlebury political science professor Bert Johnson.

Also on the program: Vermont Edition's Patti Daniels in in Las Vegas. We'll check in with her to look ahead to Saturday's Democratic caucus in Nevada.

Broadcast live on Wed., Feb. 17, 2016 at noon; rebroadcast at 7 p.m.
