VPR Cafe: Worthy Burger And Kitchen's Success Goes Beyond The Food

Great burgers and beer are only part of the Worthy family's recipe for success at their restaurants in South Royalton and Woodstock, says food writer Brent Hallenbeck.

A few years ago, burger lovers and general Vermont food fans started veering off I-89 to find their way to South Royalton for a nosh at Worthy Burger. Shortly after that, the Worthy family expanded with the opening of Worthy Kitchen in Woodstock.

Brent Hallenbeck, who writes for the Savorvore Section of the Burlington Free Press, joined VPR Cafe to talk about how great burgers and a long beer list are only part of their recipe for success. Worthy Burger, and its sister restaurant, Worthy Kitchen in South Woodstock, welcome diners with a friendly, lively atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

The VPR Café is made possible by Otter Creek Kitchenware in downtown Middlebury, offering over 70 lines of kitchenware.
